David Nance was born in Gibson County Tennessee in 1950, and graduated Milan High School in 1968. David served three years in the U.S. Army with duty stations of Ft. Campbell Ky., Aberdeen Md., Vietnam, and Ft. Hood Tx.. David was married to Lynn Caraway in Ft. Campbell Ky. in June 1968. After being honorably discharged with the rank of E5 in 1971 David served a Tool & Die apprenticeship, and attended college at the University of Tennessee in Martin Tn., and Dyersburg State Community College. After gaining experience as a mechanical design engineer David founded Nance Tool & Stamping, a metal working manufacturing business, in 1978. David owned and managed Nance Tool & Stamping Inc. for 32 years, from 1978 until retirement in 2010. Early in the business years David took flight training and became an instrument rated pilot. David and Lynn have celebrated their 45th anniversary, have two daughters, five grandchildren and still reside in Gibson County Tennessee. David is now active in the Constitution Party of Tennessee and is serving as 8th District Director.
