Article VII - Quorum
Section 1. - Quorum for Regular Meeting
A quorum shall consist of one-third of the members who are in good standing or one-third of the delegates.
Proxy voting will be allowed during regular meetings. In the event a member is unable to attend the regular annual meeting, he or she may assign their voting privileges to another member but must follow the process outlined below.
- Provide a written statement (email acceptable) to the County Chairman and the State Secretary
- Provide all vetting requirements as enumerated within the ByLaws
- Within the written statement provide the following:
- First and Last Name
- Address, City, ZIP
- County
- Name of the member who will be voting on their behalf
Section 2. - Quorum for Executive Committee Meetings
A quorum for a meeting of the Executive Committee shall be a one-third of the number of members sitting on the Executive Committee.
Executive Committee members must be present to vote or provide a written statement (email acceptable) to the Chairman stating the Executive Committee member to whom he has assigned his permission to vote on his behalf.
